Weed and Seed

Offerings: 
A resource portal to distribute information about community events and maintains community calendar.
Needs: 
Help getting the word out about the website and community calendar, getting people to send their information to the calendar.

Gulf Coast Women’s Center

Offerings: 
Speakers available on topics such as domestic violence, respectful dating/relationships, abuse, sexual health, etc.
Needs: 
More youth who can speak on these topics, especially at the middle and high schools. Would like to see college age students who can come and speak to the younger kids. Also needs help understanding how to get into the high schools which are wary of some of these topics.

United Way

Offerings: 
Through the “Volunteer Gulf Coast Center” can access, recruitment and placement for volunteers
Needs: 
Always can use more volunteers, and especially more organizations who are willing to accept volunteers aged 13-18.

MS Gulf Coast Children's Health Project

A program of Coastal Family Health Center that focuses on the medical and mental health needs of youth from ages 0-24. We have a mobile medical unit that travels the entire coast on a monthly schedule to offer physicals, flu shots, and medical care to families without insurance or a permanent medical home. The mental health team includes counselors and a child psychologist who offer child and family counseling and some testing services.

Ohr O'Keefe Museum of Art

The Education Department of the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art is dedicated to growth and development on the Mississippi Gulf Coast through art based education. It is our mission to: “present interactive educational experiences so that people of all ages can discover the diversity and richness of American artistic traditions”.

Offerings: 
Provides a variety of after school programs and art related opportunities for kids—such as painting murals at senior centers.
Needs: 
Wants to ensure that their programs are aligned with the MS school curriculum, needs help understanding what is in the curriculum and how to align programming.

Hiller Park

The park includes the following amenities:Benches, Batting cages, Basketball courts, Concessions, Fenced area, Grills, Lighted area, Picnic tables, Playground, Restrooms, Soccer fields, Softball fields, Tennis courts, Volleyball courts, Walking track, Water fountains, a pavilion that may be rented

The park is also an area that houses many City events such as the City of Biloxi's Halloween Carnival.
